it’s okay to be last

My gladiolus haven’t bloomed for weeks, today this sweet one just popped open, I think it’s the prettiest one I’ve had this year. So they were right when they said “good guys finish last”!

What a gorgeous array of colors! When I've tried to grow them in the past, it's been "a stalk here and a stalk there"...not the glorious clump that you have! ...and ahhh...our birth-month flower : D
