We get so excited! by louannwarren

We get so excited!

Only in Texas do you see people taking photos of tiny bits of snow. We had no more than one half inch of snow Saturday, we were all taking pictures. Ha! This is a prickly pear cactus close to Lori’s. The snow had melted by noon but was fun to see.

Thank you for your wonderful response to my “Sunset on Lake Lewisville”, on the TT last week! I am thrilled!
How exciting ! well worth taking the camera out before it all melted away

Great picture! I had received a little video that it was snowing from Nadya and was wondering if it would stay long enough for you to take a picture!

@ingrid01 it helped that the roads were so warm and the snow melted on them so everyone could travel easily. It was gone in no te!

A lovely capture. It tends to be similar in this country, because we don’t get snow very often, everything stops & people dash out to enjoy it!

When you do t get much snow we get stupidly excited about the tiniest bit....we are just the same! Doesn’t last long though as the whole country grinds to a halt! I would never imagine you would have snow in Texas.... very pretty!

beautifully done!

It would be very dry too with that snowfall. Rather nice to be in it.

You get just as excited about snow in Texas as we do when we have a 68 degree day in January!! Looks like you got some of our snow and we got some of your heat. I'll take that trade any day! Fun shot.

When I lived in Florida in the sixties we got a quick hit of snow and driving the roads became scary not because of the snow but because of people watching the snow instead of paying attention to their driving.

You've got more than us... and I live in Canada (where the world thinks we live in igloos!)

Snow -- exotic for you, annoying for us here in Chicago. Love the contrast in response to it.

Great capture. We have friends in Dallas who were building a small snowman
