The Queen of the Painted Churches

St. Mary’s High Hill Catholic Church in Schulenburg is a stunning Gothic Revival style church. Built in 1906 by Germans and Czech Moravians and painted by two German artists in 1912; instead of wood flooring, it is carpeted in beautiful crimson red carpet; the stained glass windows are the prettiest of the five painted churches we visited over the last two days.
Beautiful! Thanks for taking us on the tour with you.

Evidently the Germans and Czechs craved companionship. You captured the ornateness (I'm sure that's a word) superbly.
