Cadence’s step brother graduated from high school last night, I watched the live streaming ceremony on my laptop and noted the 6 foot social distancing between each graduate. The Dallas Cowboys offered their football stadium for the event, there was plenty of space for the grads on the field and the 5 family members each grad was allowed, in the stands. This for the word of the day “space”.
@ludwigsdiana I noticed that too. For whatever reason I guess those students didn’t come. Perhaps their families were still fearful of the virus. I cannot imagine missing my high school graduation though.
I'm glad different schools are coming up with creative and innovative ways to graduate their students. Our neighbor's daughter is graduating this Saturday but I forgot to ask her how the school is handling it. My grandson's in KY had a "drive-through" graduation. Each class had an assigned time and each family drove through the parking lot to receive certificates and awards from the teachers. Sounds like it was fun.
