A Dallas suburb has a huge fireworks celebration on July 3rd every year, with probably close to 100,000 people. This year they went to a secret location and put on the show with wonderful music on their You Tube channel. These are just screen shots. It was pretty wonderful and everyone could watch it safely, virtually, another amazing work around due to Covid. Happy birthday America!
Beautiful - and what an wonderful idea to let people enjoy safely. We were told to watch our town's display last night from inside our cars - wasn't sure how that would work with the tripod so found my spot all alone by the hospital going in through my friend's adjoining yard. (Her yard's view was blocked by a big tree).
They had a great idea! I wish someone had thought about that around here. There were no displays so people took it upon themselves to set off their own- until 2 AM!
good to know that there are still places with people who have their heads firmly on their shoulders and not whining about no fireworks or something. nice catch of the virtual displays, law. aces!
