This image shows how Covid is affecting our cities. This street is usually lined with cars and people are everywhere. Jerry had parked and I was walking around taking photos when I turned around and saw the clouds, they gave us a lot of rain, at our home 15 miles away. We were thrilled.
I’m not quite sure how you achieved the effect you have shown here but I love it! It’s a definite FAV It looks kind of like a Norman Rockwell painting.
@milaniet@stray_shooter@777margo@ziggy77 that gritty street made me think I should title this “Texas Grit”. Thank you so much for your great comments and faves!
This has an eerie- a tornado is about to hit- kind of feel to it (although I know it's just rain coming in!). I think it depends on where you live and what is re-opening. Our streets are back to normal and even though hours are shorter and customers are regulated as to how many can be in a store at a time due to the size of the business- things are fairly close to normal here. It could be the demographics as well. It's true though- so many business affected by the way governors locked down businesses- at least here. Lowe's was allowed to stay open but our local hardware store was forced to close until 2 weeks ago- a totally biased and arbitrary decision by our governor. Oh well, enough of the soap box! Great shot!!
