For my annual checkup I had my temperature taken at the entrance to this building and an orange band put on my wrist stating that I was fever free. Then I walked to these ladies who asked me the virus questions, they also had extra masks for patients. Once I passed the quiz I could go to my appointment. I expect these procedures will be in place through next year, until the Covid vaccines can do their jobs.
Ooh my , reminds me of a partly grated carrot !! ha . We have the same palaver re the covid here too -- but a much needed regime to try and keep us safe !
Yes, I had a page long set of questions at the dentist office. I'm happy to see all the precautions. I will probably wear a mask when going out long after the vaccine is in place!
That's the usual routine in most medical facilities- although in my doctor's office the screening and questions are done at the same time. Stay healthy!
It's still so surreal however, this would make me feel more confident at the doctors office. And that Chihuly art piece... Wow! Nice medical facility - I like it when they bring art in to the mix at medical facilities - the hospital, when I lived in Burbank, has a piano in the lobby and people often play - music and art to calm and soothe all.
A sign of the times.Very difficult to see doctors here.My husband has an infected toe.We had to send a photo to the surgery for the Dr.to look at yesterday,so that he could prescribe antibiotics.
That is some incredible art work....you would feel much better after seeing that... rungs a smile to the face. Your doctors looks a very impressive place I must say...I doubt any germs would dare invade that space! Similar precautions here too.
Its just a matter of time before we can get back to normal, its down to us all following the rules until then and get the vaccinations when we get the call, stay safe Lou Ann:)
I think it will be a long time before we get back to normal again. Better to be safe than sorry though.
When David was in hospital a couple of months ago it took longer to get into the hospital going through various check in stations than it did to drive there.
I love the orange sculpture, the lady in front of it looks like Medusa with orange hair.
I was wondering if the art was Chihuly. Fancy medical building if it is! A terrific shot of it and the guardians of the door. OI am so grateful we can go to medical appointments even if we have to be screened first! It is worht the inconveninece to stay healthy!
That is for sure the most unusual tree I think I've ever seen! As someone above said, it does take your mind off why you're there. If we could just convince the rest of the world how simple it would be to get a handle on this virus if they would just take the 3 easy steps - sounds like all 365'ers understand - why can't the rest!
Yes, it is different to have such appointments. We had to wait in the car til called, then taken into the otherwise locked offices and kept in isolation there. But actually, it felt safe so that was fine.
Lovely tree, unusual colour for Christmas. Hospitals taking many precautions when admitting people inside. We experienced this in April or May when Christine broke her wrist. Better that than infecting the whole hospital community.
