The ongoing throwback project, photos from way back when...
Old train station in Funks Grove, Illinois. Taken 10 years ago tomorrow (5/31/2007). Nestled between the Shirlely and McLean exits of I-55, on old Rt-66, Funks Grove is one of my favorite place names.

My interest in old buildings goes back to the very start of my photography. i suppose I like to think about the impermanence of mankind... Expect to see more examples in future throwback entries
