seen at Blouberg. I have never seen one of these and suspect that it must be something new. There was a team that spent all morning doing videos and stills of this. Taken from the 8th floor balcony with the Tamron 18-400 which I gave back. I am still waiting for the 16-300 which is not available here atm.
Hello Diana, this is a recent invention, as you suspect, and it is called a wingfoil. (I am not a surfing expert at all but I met someone on the beach last year who had one of these).
