lazing around in the pond. All four of them, occasionally coming up for air and twitching those ears. Pity the water was deep enough for them to spend most of the time under water.
Hippos -- awesome looking, but so incredibly dangerous. We were astounded one morning when we saw how fast one moved on land. Wonderful capture of the submerged one.
They must love the water in your warm climate. I love the face poking up out of the water. I think I might have cropped out or cloned out the duck though- just my humble opinion. It's an artistic choice.
