A thirsty Lioness by ludwigsdiana

A thirsty Lioness

After all these shenanigans with a 365 er who was posting AI images, I decided to check out the Generative Fill in Ps.

I took my photo and used the cropping tool, dragged out to the bottom using generativ fill.

I added a prompt water and clicked on generate. It gave me three options which were all ok. I chose this one.

I will not be using it in future, it was just a test to see what it can do.
Nice. It turned out very well.

Excellent image

Whatever you did it turned out to be a lovely image

Beautiful photo, but I think AI is scary.

Fabulous.

Beautiful

How impressive that you figured out how to do this at all! Not having seen the original it’s hard to know how different it is. This result is very believable.

Well done you, that’s wonderful result. Your photos are even better though

This actually turned out quite well. I'm not completely against AI, however, I'm pleased to hear you will not be using it in the future in 365.

Great timing with that paw off the ground. Lovely shot!

Interesting test! I haven’t got that far

Soon AI won’t need the human race… or am I thinking of the scifi movies I watched as a young girl?

AI certainly makes it increasing difficult to work out if a photograph or any of its component parts is actually "real".

Wonderful shot.

This turned out beautifully but I have to admit AI makes me wonder why I bother with taking pictures. The future of photography seems to be more about creating a picture through editing and AI than actually taking one. I use Lightroom and On1 so I'm not against editing just the potential for misuse.

Beautiful shot

Not gonna lie, this looks convincingly good

Excellent use of edits. She exudes real power, especially with her paw slightly raised. Fav!

It does look so realistic (and is a great capture) - before I read the top, I was like ‘Wow - a Safari animal and reflections!’ With AI, I find it makes us more wary of accepting images as they appear.

Awesome capture

Beautiful capture!

That's pretty amazing Dianna! The whole process is a bit of a challenge though. It sort of poses the question - what is the function of a photograph?

Great shot

It's pretty amazing what an AI program can alter and improve (?!) in a picture should the photographer decide to do that. What I like about yours is that it's still mostly your picture especially concerning your subject. I think the ones that go way beyond reality are the ones I'm not crazy about. But this one makes sense and actually looks quite natural. But I'd be like you- play around with it but not using it to generate a completely different image. Good shot.

Nice results.

Wow this is amazing what AI can do! This is beautiful!
February 26th, 2024
Wow! This is way beyond me, but thank you for explaining your process, Diana! The result is quite amazing! Fav
February 26th, 2024
Love how it is coming toward you. Great shot.
February 26th, 2024
I have no understanding about what you did with this photo but I’m assuming you added the water and reflection, it looks very real
February 26th, 2024
@ludwigsdiana thanks for guiding me back to that Diana. Apparently, retaining something for more than a day or two, is beyond my capacity at the moment!
February 26th, 2024
We are so easily deceived. We live in an increasingly less real world.
February 26th, 2024
@kjarn Yes Kathy, it was added by generative fill ;-)
@haskar Unfortunately so true Hasar :-(

This came out fantastic. Glad I missed the shenanigans; AI can be a nice tool I guess, but generated photos should not be passed off as genuine
