Another little Frog saved by ludwigsdiana

Another little Frog saved

with very different patterns to the first. I wonder why they suddenly come to our pool, never noticed them before.
Suspect that they were probably there, just not visible. Nice capture.

Super close up, amazing details. What a neat pattern he has on his back. Not sure I like his feet ;-)

Excellent detail. Maybe it has been so dry and they needed the water.

You have captured a terrific photo of him and yay for saving yet another! You posted a picture a few days ago of rainwater and I think it was going into your pool. Is it possible they are collecting in the drains and getting washed in? Is it possible they are hatched in the pool and you are just now noticing them? Can’t wait to hear what you finally decide.

@grammyn I doubt it is any of your suggestions Katy. We swim daily, so would have noticed the tadpoles. They would not survive in salt water neither. There is a dam in the olive grove where the red bishops live and I noticed a lot of tadpoles before. Our swimming pool is the closest one to the dam, maybe they just smelt the water. Funny that is was two different looking ones. Thanks for your interest ;-)

@ludwigsdiana I had forgotten your pool was a saltwater pool! Of course they would not be living in that. All I know is we used to get frogs in our pool over the winter time because we wouldn’t keep the chemicals in it all year long.
