Re Mum's diary: Not much done yesterday - too many words I couldn't make out but she is now in Nottingham and marvelling over the lace produced there - something called Pillow Lace! Their 1928 Morris Oxford pulled a sad when Mum was driving and would not go up the hills! Then.... she found she had the brake on! There seems to be a wonderful museum in Notts that is a castle!
Beautiful shot. Well composed. It sounds like the celebrations are really fun. re: your mother's journal. I can imagine the look on her face when she found out that she had the car's brake on.
Like this high key look--the color really pops. Sounds like so much fun discovering your mum's blunders in her younger years. Are you keeping a diary for the next generation to decipher?
@catwoman2 he just good be - there is a steam punk display on shortly and he would fit in there! Thanks for the suggestion! I will send a cablegram straight away!
With all your wonderful photographs Paula and I have decided to come to Oamaru next year for a holiday. Your 365 project has directly contributed to tourism in the area. Thanks for showcasing your town to us.
LOL about the brake being on in the car ; ) I have a feeling she wasn't the first to do it, and personally I know she wasn't the last.
