Summer's Day

The temperature outside is 23◦C - thats 74F! There is hardly any wind and I have given up with the birds and the bees and will now go with the view from my kitchen! Tonight we have Fireworks for Guy Fawkes so will attempt a photo for the first time!

My mother's journal is progressing slowly with me as I've little time. She is still wandering around Nottingham enjoying a Tram ride to Mapperly and talking about London fashions being so much more smart that Nottingham.
Oh how lovely to have the window open, those days are long gone here

I love seeing the view from others windows!!!! You have a great one & I love your row of mugs. My daughter in law & granddaughter on ferry between N & S Island so should be quiet crossing then!!!

@maggiemae They were staying in Picton overnight & sailing this morning so hope all is quiet!!! Coming back from Uni in Lincoln for the summer hols & bringing Alex's car home which she has just had a bump in!!! thanks for the weather forecast Maggiemae!!!!

Lovely kitchen Maggie. The villages are Hucknell, formerly known as Hucknell Tokard and Bulwell which used to be famous for its market.
