Story of the three ducks by maggiemae

Story of the three ducks

These three ducks had a day out at the show! They were let out of their container, met two bright and energetic dogs who shepherded them through a series of fences and poles and finally up and over this bridge! They will have a lot to tell their family tonight!

Um... the commentator did say "At the beginning of this day, there were five ducks"! Then there was a pause and he said, "I hope the children don't get that meaning"! I must have been one of the children! Those dogs would not have hurt any!
@yonnie for you, Yvonne!

I saw a pig race once at Morrinsville A &P show....great fun! By the way have never asked , I know A stands for Agriculture but don't know what P stands for...something obvious I would think but can't think! The dog looks like he is on duck duty....clever boy!!! love the ducks trotting over the bridge!

Never would those dogs have harmed one of their charges! I'm quite upset at the insinuation ;) Sounds like a lovely day!

@happypat P stands for Pat, - what else! No, its Pastoral. There were two dogs and they sent the ducks over here - just quietly!

@yonnie Glad you liked it Yvonne - so did the Governor General in front of whom they were performing!
February 22nd, 2013
@kwiksilver no, I think there were five originally, Gillian - perhaps two of them flew off?
February 22nd, 2013
@maggiemae Ooooh, that's better - I didn't like the implication that the dogs were to blame! Free, free at last ..... ! :)

lol I bet there were always 3 ducks and the emcee was making that statement to raise a few eyebrows! Otherwise I like your interpretation that 2 ducks are now living the wild life! Cute shot- it looks like it was a good show.
