Sitting at the table playing with my camera and going through the menu, I found some options I never knew I had! This is one called watercolour. The roses were on a coffee table.
Three good things:
1. A whoopee day - made a video to send to son in Austin Texas. He's getting married, aged 43! Never thought it would happen. We drank a whole bottle of champagne making this video!
2. John eats his apple with a sharp knife now, just like my father used to!
3. If you put your glasses on a cord to go round your neck, you get a second taste of your meal!
That's a useful choice on your camera menu, it's made a lovely shot. Like the composition of the petals around the base of the vase. Lovely quality to this and classy framing.
@summerfield Well, the frame went on in post process. There are more options like high contrast mono, soft focus, miniature:auto (don't know what this one does), illustration etc etc. More to remember!
Oh my maggiemae, I just posted my Contemplate and then I see this. This is twice this week that I have titled my post the same or close to the same as someone else. I really like your photo. So pretty I could see this framed and hanging.
I love this, Maggiemae. What a great shot and find on your camera. I love your three good things. Congrats to your son. Sounds like a fun celebration on your end of the world. You just reminded me that my Dad ate his apples with a knife as well. Forgot about that. Apples tasted better back then too. Funny about the glasses. You have a wonderful sense of humor. FAV
Nice shot and cool effect on your camera. What kind is it? It doesn't say over in the info section. Your mention of glasses on a cord and second meal made me laugh. I wish I could take mine off from time to time, but I'd be blind without them! I wish I could have Lasik surgery.
#1 Congratulations!
