It started out as a beautiful little chinese vase given to my by my much older sister from her belongings after she followed her beloved husband into a new world. I’m sure she wouldn’t mind - it got handled by a number of processing apps to look like this!
Three good things;
1. Continuing on my editing of the manuscript that I have typed - I’ve got to the part where I dictated it by voice and the computer typed! It is quite amazing what the computer thought I said!
2. Continuing on with the NZ Auckland apartment for rent - put it on yesterday on Trademe- current statistics - 700 views, 50 people put it on hold and 18 groups of people want to see through it! Our Real Estate agent indicated we should take the much lower sale price but we are holding back. On one hand you have the worry of lessees and the other hand you are not getting the percentage value for your investment! I think I’ll be a ‘lesseess” person- less of everything but happy!
3. Continuing on in photography - the challenge of art being included in photography! In this picture I think there is a Japanese lady with a fly swat zapping anything in sight - to keep the peace!
Yes definitely a fly swotter....she's giving it a good swatting too! Stunning colours....this would be a great entry in the class for a digitaly enhanced photo in our show I reckon! Beautuful glowing colours! Good luck with your manuscript......take it slow & you will get it exactly as your mum meant it to be. So many look on line these days for houses to rent or buy. Hope you get sorted without too much stress!
I use talk to text often in commenting on 365 and it is very entertaining what the computer makes me say at times! I am not sure it is such a labor saving device by the time you make all the corrections!
A lovely artistic image! Great processing! She does look like she is swatting flies! Good luck with the apartment! Sounds like the book is coming on nicely.
An interesting capture and edit --love the rich red background (very oriental ) the swirls of mist while the vase seems to suspense in mid-air making the whole scene quite magical ! and for all that a fav for me !
Very effective, it seems to be magically floating in a red sea. She could be fanning the people who have collapsed with heat exhaustion on the garden seat.
I had to giggle at the Japanese lady fly swatting everything. On another note, good luck with the apartment. I'm in the unenviable position of being a landlord as well (due to having inherited an apartment, that I personally wouldn't like to live in) and omg I wish I didn't have it! I always feel sorry for the tenants when they can't manage the rent and I just allow everything to slide by for months on end! I really should put it on the market! Sigh!
Yes- it does look like a fly swatter! hehehe I like your funky processing! As to renters and such- like everything else in life: you get what you pay for (or in this case you rent for). We used to be tenants (an exception to the rule I might add as we always treated what we rented as our own). The last place we lived Jeff acted as superintendent (handyman, groundskeeper stuff like that) for the landlord. The landlord was always trying to rent the apartments at low cost and then couldn't figure out why people would skip out on their rent and totally destroy the property. He was so cheap!! And until we started showing the apartment and pre-screening the people for him, he had the worst tenants! So hold to your price. That's how you'll get the right person in there.
What interesting processing. The red of the kimonos seems flourescent and really hits the eye. Perhaps shes singing an aria and being dramatic, more interesting than swatting flies!
