An evening shot balanced on the couch shooting through the window!
Three good things;
I. I copied a recipe from Nigella Lawson - “Tuscan chips”
She stated: Stand by your pan! The oil should be very hot. I thought it was similar to the song, “Stand by your man”
2. There was an issue about the Dog Pound being cold here in Oamaru. I said, the area was a good one because the dogs barked constantly - no residential areas around. I got a do-gooder response:…. “How about we lock you in there. And you may sleep o n a concrete floor, with a frozen water bowl in front of you. Oh you'd be to weak you probably would start yelling for some help. Heartless spiteful old lady". ….I just said, thank you Daryl! But afterwards there were some comments about ‘keeping your dogs at home and tagging them” All good.
3. A quiet day after an AF event at night for some time, with John - Bruni will relate to this! @bruni
Lovely view from your sitting room window. I couldn't help but gasp at your run in with the complainers on the Internet. Of course no one is allowed any opinion on anything on there else you get shot down in flames! Unpleasant people, glad you took it so well!
Stunning sky. Your do-gooder should spend her/his energy on raising support for improving conditions if they really care. You do the right thing though by ignoring such comments --- they are quite funny sometimes when looked at in the right light.
@happypat Some people hide behind vicious words. I had thought of saying that I volunteer for the SPCA but then thought that might not get the best response!
Pretty sky! And how nice to be able to take the shot from the comfort of your couch! Sometimes people say the stupidest things! (If stupidest can be considered a word!)
Lovely colours and clouds. Like the silhouetted trees and chimney too.
Best response to No. 2, makes them grit their teeth because they have no response to feed on!
Fabulous sunset light
