The light first shone from this lighthouse in 1880 but in 1980 it was shifted from its place away out round the coast to this safe harbour. Its very well maintained and so has a lot of visitors.
Three good things:
1. A lunch at a harbour bar overlooking the sands - pizza with all sorts on it, made by a guy from Holland!
2. The clouds moved to become a lovely warm day and we sat with the windows open looking at the view till 8pm!
3. Watching the lives of others going on around us. Mostly Germans who's children seem to be well behaved but they talk in such loud voices!
@tonydebont Oh dear - a cruise ship has just arrived and the tenders are going in and out again constantly. I'm not going down there for lunch! Go down for dinner when it leaves!
