Once more, beautiful weather in Ottawa. I noticed some activity going on down here during the day from our 11th floor balcony and was thrilled to see what they had done! Must be something to do with the 150th Canadian Anniversary.
Three good things;
1. Had the family in for a bbq lunch on the rooftop - hot but ice and cold wine sufficed!
2. A staff member came and cleaned the bbq after we had used it! Think of that!
3. An abundance of watermelon
@onewing I think if you had had a few glasses of wine or (G&T's) you wouldn't have been capable of leaping over the high balcony sides! Thank goodness!
are you staying on until after this weekend when the country celebrates 150? i had hoped to come to Ottawa and take in the festivities even if just for the day, but i need to be at the office. hope to see you when you come back to Toronto.
@summerfield Oh,Vikki, from here we fly to Vegas as we have to get to El Mirage but 13th July for the next exciting motorbike trials! Here in Ottawa till about the 9th July.
