Everywhere here, are magnificent buildings of great design and history. The statues also everywhere put the achievements of some special people to remember. Architecture, politics, music and art, war and major achievements before the rest of world even started to think!
Three good things:
1. 4 hours on a Hopon Hopoff bus or two to see and absorb this history! All with wonderful Hungarian music to listen to!
2. I twiddled a bit with the light standards - don't tell anyone!
3. I was warm with my newly bought woollen Long Johns on. Hope you know what these are!
Wonderful capture of the historical architecture...Hungary is part of the Visegrad group of central European countries that includes Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia.
Another beautiful and interesting building to see ! Sound as if you are enjoying this place especially with your newly purchased long jones to keep your nether regions warm !!
Great capture. Budapest has some astonishing buildings.. when i was there the parliament building and the monument for the tribes that conquered the land to be named Hungary where the most beautiful of all.
That’s a very splendid street light. Until recently we had nice old ones on our street but they’ve been replaced by once with no artistic merits at all.
The long established European cities are a marvel. So much artistry, skill and endeavour to demonstrate their creativity for the benefit so all. Fest on it all!
How cold is it there?
I had my long johns on for -40C!
