Prague is another historical European city to explore. Our first impressions were formed by the hotel (Botel) that we had chosen. The boat on the great river Vitava with accommodations and restaurant. Very plush!
This is a photo taken out of the window which had condensation on the inside of the double glazing! A natural effect.
Three good things:
1. John left his special coat (given to him as belonging to a much loved BIL who has since passed), on the plane! We have set in motion what is necessary. However he has a lot of mistakes to even halfway catch up to my original one!
2. Our tiny cabin has a window on to this great river and we watch all the boats sail past - and all the swans!
3. Got a wheelchair organised for John ( who limps when needed) and we got through all sorts of gates and along huge airport halls with no problems!
The mistiness from the condensation is a rather lovely effect. My husband decided the wheel chair was a great idea on our last trip, it does make it much easier in large airports!
@dide Thanks Dianne - as it was a gift, we really don't know what brand it is- they are asking. Fortunately I took a photo of John last year in it when we were in Alaska and its such a good photo! Sending it to them and they will definitely be able to identify it!
I’ve always heard Prague is lovely, your photos certainly reinforce that observation. I like the wheelchair idea a lot. Airports are so large! As for the coat, surely they have it in lost and found! A photo of it is great - photos are wonderful things. Smile.
oooh I took Mr. Boo to Prague a few years ago ( I had lived there for a bit when I was younger) was nice to be able to be his guide around the city. Enjoy!
@maggiemae it had changed when I had showed Mr. Boo too. There were lots of places I could show him that had not changed...not sure I would want to go back again though..I like the romantic memory I have and don't want to spoil that
What a beautiful view and photo. What a wonderful trip you two are on. Enjoying your three good things as well and your story that will never end about leaving your passport at home.
