Our theme this month was the Suffragists and we all brought along something to share. So interesting to read all the stories!
I just put this on the Black and it is quite impressive, thank you myself!
Three good things;
1. I was encouraged to be in one of my photographs this time - back row on left.
2. Wonderful afternoon tea with meringues, cream and strawberries and a 'leaf' of pure chocolate.
3. Didn't run out of fuel even if this location was 40 kilometres away- there and then back 40k but the fuel alarm was on!
Ooh a long way for this months meeting! A wonderful warm scene here of all you friends! I think I would like a book shop but they seem to have fizzled out here, I never hear of any to join. You look lovely as usual, I like the hair over one eye!
What a great book club group portrait. It works so well in black and white with that processing. And everyone is looking at the camera and smiling. Perfect.
@onewing I have to admit - we all look forward to the afternoon tea - crispy bread rings with freshly cooked salmon, divine club sandwiches with the crusts cut off!
And the best cheeses from the area, just at the right temperature with pears, grapes, tiny crackers!
From the looks of everyone I imagine there are some lively and interesting discussions- not only about books, but life in general. Excellent group shot and I'm glad they convinced you to be in it this time.
