This place at the tip of the South Island is known for its many hours of sunshine! I am staying here with this view for a few days while hubby flies up to Auckland to visit with his elderly sisters, both in different rest homes.
Three Good Things:
1. Gas tanks full, waste tanks empty - I won't have to drive this motorhome anywhere.
2. News is full of the shootings - all races are coming together.
3. Photos all day!
Photos all day is a great way to spend the day. It sounds like you are all set for when John is gone. Gorgeous Silhouettes and late in this photo. Sad to hear about the shootings but good to know everyone is coming together perhaps that’s why it has to happen
Very nice shot. And fairly unique. I love the exposure which silhouettes the trees and yet shows some color and detail within the cars and the tents. Fav.
@golftragic I do feel a little out of place at this time being totally by myself Marnie. I have to rely on my imagination - if someone breaks into the van I shall hit him with my rolling pin!
@pamknowler Thanks Pam - it's a new experience! When we were bringing up kids, he was away a lot but not in the last 20 years! ps,,.. I'm actually enjoying it!
Looks like a lovely ending to the day. I love being with Jeff, but when he's away every once in a while I really enjoy it- especially since I can eat all the things he doesn't care for but I like! I usually miss him by the third day!
