and been there since 1905. It's the Boer War Memorial and I expect a lot of youngsters don't even know the word, Boer! Well maintained and surrounded by different flower beds all year round, its something to be proud of.
Thankful for:
Huge radishes in the garden and the rhubarb is now a giant one!

I didn't realise that New Zealand was involved in the Boer War. It was interesting to read up some of the history.

@happypat John's uncle fought in the Boer War and stayed in South Africa. And obviously a lot of locals did too with their names etched forever!
