To change my photo - I'm not blonde any more - just grey but I'm very easy with it. I used my new selfie stick which insisted on being on an angle. I just left it like this.
Thankful for:
On asking for assistance on this selfie stick, I found that you had to press a button for 2 secs. I thought it was 2 short presses. Nowadays it makes such a difference!
I haven’t got a selfie stick...you look fabulous here....isn’t it a relief not to have to bother with the hair colour...I haven’t done mine fir a good few years now & now when I haven’t been able to go to the hairdressers since well before Christmas it’s a relief...only the length to bother about!
@happypat Yes its a relief not to have to worry about colour, Pat - I always did it myself but it was non-ending. Maybe I should put a pink streak in my hair to go with the jersey!
Looking good Maggie! It's just about time for me to color again. I've always done it myself but seeing so many gals my age allowing the gray to set in and stay, it's tempting to be lazy and just forget about it. However vanity is making a fine argument for "one more time". Nice selfie!!
@olivetreeann People with coloured hair look much younger than their actual age when ageing. But the natural grey can look just elegant. Its all in the shine.
@maggiemae I agree- we had a friend (since passed) who had a lovely head of hair- all silvery white. Another friend had beautifully streaked gray hair- all natural. I think if mine was going to look like that I'd let it go, but right now, it's a little too gray-white. It looks fine on the "withers" but not so fine all over!
Oh, I call the side edges around my face, next to the eyes "the withers". I guess that's officially the temple. Although wither I may, and wither I might has a really nice ring to it!
