Back home and all set for the Blood Moon challenge. This was ok as I now know the settings. Speed1/125. f-stop 11 to 16, and focus on infinity. ISO only 100.
I sent in to the NZ news as they requested shots and it was shown on the page - 'a great photo by MM"!
Thankful for;
Our wonderful new neighbours have gone like a hurricane through their property, cut down a huge cabbage tree that was cloaked in ivy - the ivy was coming into our property leaf by leaf! When we arrived home, she popped her head over the hedge and said 'welcome home"! I was chuffed!
Oh Maggie Mae I am so thrilled for you first because of this fabulous photo! I know how you have struggled to capture the moon and I think you have made huge strides in your skills. This is amazing! In addition to that I’m happy to hear about your new neighbors because I know you worried about that as well. Everything is coming up rosy for you
I’m so glad about your neighbours as I know you were apprehensive as we all our about new people next door.
She will be honoured to live next door to a news photographer I guess!
Great shot Maggie. FG got me out of bed and set things up but the body was letting me down .. so don't think I got a decent shot.. But it was spectacular and beautiful clear skies..
