Original shot, in color, taken back in October 2014. Converted to black and white in On1 using the Kodak T-Max 100 film look option. Too built up, too many people, too much crime - NOT the Myrtle Beach of my childhood and teen years. The only reason I was there in 2014, was for a high school reunion and to be with my friend with the T-Bird. LOL! I really have to get some landscapes. =)
Yeah, our suburban bedroom community near Detroit became “trendy” and housing prices rose sharply, changing the demographics of the community. My parents are buried there. I have one surviving relative (in her 80s) I saw frequently growing up who lives in the neighboring city. One of Clare's best friends still lives there and Clare has several cousins in the area, but it's a 10-hour drive from where we live now. I don't think I'll attend any more reunions, so I don't know how many more times I will be inclined to visit. The world changes … as we grow older. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@njmom3 Appreciate it, Nada! Thank you so much!
