My confederate jasmine vine (or star jasmine) has struggled to come back since it was torn out and trampled when they replaced my deck about five years ago. It's a lovely little pinwheel-shaped white blossom with a very strong sweet scent. The scent is not as subtle as the wild yellow jasmine with its trumpet-shaped flowers which I prefer to smell. What I'm catching whiffs of in the air at the moment is passion flower (got to find them) and the tea olive is budding too.
This looked very familiar to me so I was surprised I hadn’t found this at the greenhouse. It’s in a very big “family” — https://365project.org/tags/apocynaceae
@rhoing Beautiful shots, Thom! I am more familiar with the wild than the nursery plants and this was bought at Lowes garden center years ago. It's just now beginning to take hold again. I thought I lost it for good.
