My mom lives in a housing development where the houses are a good size and nearly bumping into each other, but the yards are very tiny. Good for retired folks who can't do or don't want to do a lot of yard work. Strange that she was raised a farm girl but prefers this - I, on the other hand, prefer my very rural setting with peace and quiet.
