Filling backward into an empty date from last week. OK...I admit I have wasted a lot of time that I could have been using for more meaningful pursuits (accomplishing goals, etc) staring at the screen of my iPod while the app called "Aura Painter" draws these exquisite, jewel-like patterns. The patterns are determined by what is typed into the field at the top. Type one letter or two or your name or a word or phrase or numbers and keyboard symbols -- -/:()&@);)& It matters whether a letter is capitalized or not. You'll get the exact same thing every time, if you put in the exact same thing. Or you can let the app choose arbitrary strings of letters, numbers, symbols and watch it draw, Spirograph-like. I know I sound like an ad for the thing... Lately I've taken to challenging myself to catch it midway on a phase of a pattern I like better than the finished product. Sometimes it takes a good number of tries before I get the exact timing I want. A couple of these are examples of that.
