My get pushed challenge from my partner Jay Butterfield @jaybutterfield was to " take your camera into the kitchen and take a macro shot of food." I posted several photos the other day and got some good feedback from Kathy @randystreat She noted that the shots were all in the same tones and suggested I might try food shots on a plate or board with a color that contrasts with them to set them off even more.
Today I took the last of the "blueberry cobbler" cheese that I had used for this shot of cheese and crackers on the wooden board: http://365project.org/mcsiegle/alternates/2017-07-26
and paired it with fresh blueberries on a colorful plate. Alas, too late to take a fresh picture one of the other subjects of my previously posted food -- the Sicilian treat called 'cuccidati'. We polished that off soon after it was photographed.
