From the hip #2

Laura’s challenge to me was to try “shooting from the hip/waist” I managed to get a few interesting ones downtown on Siunday afternoon. Definite learning curve—my first ones had a lot of the pavement. I took one right before this with the cycle but not as well placed — ciorrected and got lucky.

Well done. Are you allowed to look at the LED screen or is that defeating the purpose of a "from the hip" shot? I'm guess if I did this I might try at least one on "full auto" mode.
