The greenery at the bottom is trumpet vine. When I took this at the beginning of last month, the @#$%# trumpet vine had grown back from my having cut it off so it didn't completely hide the Surprise Lilies (aka Naked Ladies) when they came up. They came up, of course, with their naked stems -- their own leaves, which emerge first, having died off earlier in the summer, as usual. I'm not sure of what the bush/tree overhanging it is called. Its leaves feature in a closer shot I posted earlier. https://365project.org/mcsiegle/365/2022-08-05
I meant to post this in my Alternates album soon after that. Procrastination is my middle name. Might as well put it in my main 365 album now!
A lovely composition , love the delicate bells of the naked lady - I do not know the trumpet vine - perhaps just as well !! reading between the lines - rather a bully plant !!
