Last Saturday I helped build and paint the set for the holiday production, now in rehearsals. (“Helped build” in my case means holding things steady while others drove the screws into the flats and walls/floors) I’m not otherwise involved in that show. They just put out the call for help and Frank thought it would be good to lend a hand.
I thought the same thing as Katy ( @grammyn) saying in my head when I saw the photo "Behind the scenes." I did wonder about the possibility of an old lighting store too. Then I read your comment and the other two.
@randystreat@wakelys@grammyn Thanks, this is actually the side facing the audience—not behind the scenery (if that’s what you meant). But this is not the finished set. They will be doing more between now and when that show opens. That big door in the center that rolls up and down leads backstage into the scene shop.
