Ugly

I forgot to do anything with the 52 week theme for week 9 — “ugly.” So, belatedly, (posting 3/6) I’m putting this on an empty week 9 space. The shots are from 2/21. I passed out and hit my head on the floor when I landed. Later I realized there was a bruise and this is what it looked like after a couple of days. It has faded away now. I was trying to see what it looked like on my eyelid ( not easy with my eyes closed!) So I was trying to take pictures — then I just got silly. OK — check the box for week 9 — done. Oh boy! Week 10 is “Drama!”

Oh, Mary! That looks very painful. It could’ve been really bad if it had damaged your eye. It is definitely an ugly bruise. This might also qualify for your week of drama.

Goodness that's a terrible looking bruise. Lucky there was no break to the orbital bones or concussion.
