Another "nice guy who let me take his picture." Kind of a redux of the shot I posted on 6/26. I was taking pictures of the balconies on the building across the street and trying to decide if I wanted to brave any street photography. I've decided that if I find people working (like the two guys on campus the other day) I would feel more confident taking a picture, since there's the activity too -- not just the stranger.I looked down the sidewalk and saw this postal carrier head into a doorway and figured he'd come back out. He did and I snapped a couple of pictures from a distance. When he came closer he stopped so as not to ruin my shot -- shades of the other "nice guy!" So I asked and he obliged. If I pay attention to what's around me I may eventually be taking more "interesting" shots. In the meantime, this is probably the last of the ones I'll post for my get-pushed challenge of street photography given me by @l2lumom.
@l2lumom Traci, here is what will probably be the last one I put up here for you. It's better focused than the two men working on campus, but not too visually interesting.
You've got a great leading line with this. I love how the facades make you look right down the sidewalk.
You embraced this wholeheartedly, good for you!
