A little explanation...
First, have I pointed out yet that the macro challenge is "glass?" (serious favorite of mine, if it's not obvious...)
Next, the temperature-telling tube that used to hold these colored floats broke. But I couldn't get rid of them, could I? So they lie heaped together in a clear glass bowl in the window, along with other useless, but beautiful, items. (Of course there are functional things too -- but their main job is to sit still and let the light shine through them -- making me very happy and content whenever I look at them.)
