Zoom Burst Redux by mcsiegle

Zoom Burst Redux

This morning I gave my get pushed challenge another try. Tim challenged me to do 5 second exposures and I chose to use that for zoom burst shots. I read an article online which gave me some idea of how to improve what I had posted last night. This is basically the same subject and setup but with adjustments. I think what I was shooting was difficult to get a balance between obvious zoom and sharper focus on the target center. Probably a less busy subject would work better, but I did want to post this second attempt. I also have a different composition from this morning that I’ve posted here:

Great job but what really caught my eye is that I have that exact ornament!! 1983 but obviously with a different photo inserted! 😃

@wyomingsis how fun! Yes, I would hope we each have different photos inserted in our two ornaments. 🤪 The little tab at the top of ours is broken so we can’t hang it on the tree anymore. We just set it at the top of a bowl of pine cones and other ornaments that no longer hang.

@tdaug80 Here’s my second attempt at that same composition.

Oh yeah. I like the textures and patterns a lot.

You have the burst bug!

This turned out quite well and I was happy to see that our pig from @randystreat is easily identified in spite of the burst.
