Footlights and Fog

Frank and I went to see a play at the Manhattan Arts Center -- a musical: "Next to Normal." They used a lot of fog effects and I loved the way the light from these small footlights looked when it hit the fog at the front of the stage. This was taken during the intermission. (I would never take a photo during a performance.)

Interesting how the light up through the fog is so straight. I would almost expect it to be diffused and then thought about some more with my brain.
