Saw this on your flashback memories - it's really striking! This was a roadway? Or a footpath? Doesn't look like a good plan to cross now! I wonder what it is like 3 years on......
@casablanca Thank you. It's actually a causeway over the river. The first time we went to Kununurra you could drive over it, but it's been closed to traffic for many years. The area can be quite dangerous and as it's inhabited by salt water crocodiles and people have been taken by them. We've seen people standing on the rocks fishing. Go figure!
@merrelyn Wow, having lived in Australia for 6 months a couple of decades ago and seen salties, I cannot imagine why you would stand around fishing in the vicinity!!! Thanks for the info, it's really interesting.
