Day 3 Madura to Penong
Penong is 71 kms west of Cedunu. We decided to stop as it was late in the afternoon and the risk of hitting a kangaroo increases as the light decreases.
We called into several of the lookouts and the views over The Bight were fabulous. There are three official viewpoints, which have marked walkways and fences for public safety, but there are also several tracks leading right to the cliff edge. The photo on the bottom right was taken from one of these.
Internet is very slow, so my viewing and commenting is very limited.
Beautiful coast line! I am not sure where The Bite is, being from the UK? I have visited Australia a few years ago and travelled up The Great Ocean Road and was blown away by the magnificent coastline! Works well as a collage!
@hrs Thanks Helen, l brought my laptop with me as a backup and posted this from the laptop. I didn't know how to do a collage on my iPad. To me this looks sharper than the images posted from my iPad.
This looks amazing...love the top photo. Hoping to visit the bight in the new year.
Thanks for visiting Dave & I at Parachina, SA. Looking forward to seeing to your photos of the Flinders Ranges. :-)
