We went back to City Park today to check on the swan and took our grandies with us. It came across as soon as it saw us. Unfortunately, it followed Ivy, which gave her a fright. She moved quickly and it nipped her arm, which was pretty traumatic for her ( she's only 5 and the swan was almost as tall as her). After that she wouldn't come near it.

The swan doesn't seem to be aggressive. I think it got a fright when Ivy screamed, because it came too close. The nip broke the skin on her arm and gave her a huge fright. A big cuddle soon calmed her down, but she was very wary of the swan, while we were in the park :)
