The Australian Farmer....._DSC9224

another of Australia's "big things.

Today we traveled from Port Augusta to Ceduna, a distance of 466kms. We had lunch in Wudinna, next to this amazing sculpture. It is made of local pink, granite and is 8.5 metres high and weighs 130 tonnes. The sculpture, which took two years to complete, was crafted by Marijan Bekic and his son David. The four faces of the sculpture incorporate human form, farming representations and sheep carvings.
Our wifi connection is too slow, for me to be able to catch up with you all. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments and favs. I'm sorry that I am unable to reciprocate.
