I kept hearing these guys around the caravan park in Hopetoun and occasionally I caught a glimpse of one. They had a similar appearance to the red wattlebirds we see at home but their call was different and they don't have the red wattles. After finally managing to get a couple of shots, I was able to "Google" it and discovered that it's a western wattlebird and they are only found in the south west of western Australia.
Just trying to catch up with 365, but may be limited at the moment.
