We spent several hours wandering around the city to check out the Christmas light trail. There were so many people wandering around that it was a bit unnerving. Perth is in a very enviable situation with no community transmission of covid, but that could easily change. We have recently opened our borders to the other Australian states and a covid Custer has broken out in Sydney.
You are so lucky to be able to walk about freely. We are okay here as we are about 200 km north of Sydney. Just keeping our fingers crossed we don't get any Sydney visitors here from the northern suburbs over Christmas as our area is a popular Sydneysiders holiday destination.
oh, dear, better take care. take the necessary precautions now. we are on a second lockdown which had been extended until january. my oldest grandson has tested positive as well as his young sister. i am half relieved that they live in another province although i do love those kids so much. stay well and safe.
