We had an interesting trip down the hill into Adelaide this morning. It was bucketing with rain and we were driving down the freeway through fog. I had hoped to check out some of Adelaide's lovely gardens, but the weather wasn't on my side.
After a quick wander through Adelaide we drove to Glenelg for lunch. It was still raining after lunch so we headed McLaren Vale to check out some wineries. Sorry my Victorian friends, but they were more to my taste than the Coonawarra wines.
Even though it was grey and cloudy, the views were beautiful.
Wonderful view. It's ok to say that about our wines - you have to remember that ours (Vic) are cool climate wines :) SA are mighty goo - so you going up to the Barossa? It's amazing there too!
