Fire In The Cave_DSC8028

Our first full day at Jurien Bay had us up at 4.30, ready to drive out to the sand dunes for sunrise. It was a tad chilly, but what a beautiful location with pristine dunes and ridges in all directions.
After breakfast it was off to Stockyard Gully for a picnic lunch and a spot of light painting in the cave. This was my first experience with steel wool spinning and I'm looking forward to doing it again.
Amazing! I think this would make me nervous!

If you get your 'spinner' to wear black clothes .. they disappear...

@julzmaioro He did comment that he was wearing the wrong clothing.

@fbailey I was a little concerned about about our spinner's beard :)

On my photographic wish list. Well Done Merrelyn and high 5 to your spinner. You definitely need the right PPE for this.

Love it, wire wool light painting is such fun isn't it as long as somebody else is doing the spinning. When we tried it with our photo club we did it at the beach just in case somebody caught alight. We had the ocean to fall into.
