No trip to Augusta is complete without a visit to Cape Leeuwin. The Cape is the perfect location to witness the power of the sea, where the Indian and Great Southern oceans converge.
I am always fascinated by these sorts of physical locations. The most northerly place, the confluence of two rivers, the highest whatever and in the case, where the Indian Ocean collides with the Southern Ocean.
Many years ago, I stood at Cape Leeuwin for ages pondering the concept of two oceans colliding and trying appreciate what it meant. There was nothing in particular to see of course, just a concept.
