2015-10-10 sig - sag - sug

The game is often used as a selection method. (In this case for hide and seek, who is "it"). In chorus they say "sig - sag - sug" and move to "sug" one foot out or let him stand. Who’s foot stands alone, in or out, will be elected and is "it".

I’m sure this game is not only played here in Switzerland, but I have no idea of a name in English.
Not familiar with that game but then it has been a while since I played hide and seek. I think we used One potato, two potato.

That is a cool selection method ;) Love the selective coloring in this shot and the movement of the one foot who is going to be it ;)

Great shot, and a fun game. The selective coloring and the one foot in action really make this!

Great use of SC in this, love the subtlety of it,and I agree with Clare the hint of movement adds to this capture greatly!

Not sure I have seen this game here, but then again, I did not grow up in this country, so it is all foreign to me as far as childhood games go! But, they do play something called Rock, Paper, Scissors for elimination purposes, and I still don't quite get that!!

Cool capture Mona, I like the selective colour and slight movement too. I'm not sure about the game either, but wonder if you participated in the hide & seek part? :)

Love the SC, and this is a fab shot, but also fav'ing because of the story behind it. I love that selection process. We all grew up with different ways to see who was gonna be 'it' (or 'not it') but this is a very neat way to do it...

I haven't heard of this selection method, but I do like how you have depicted it.
